Audience research.

I done my research on my audience for my magazine, and the music magazine pitch, my Genre  It will be a pop/ fashion maagzine for students, these students will like fashion and glam, they're really into mass media but they cant alot as they are students, it will be from ages 16-24 girls. the house style font colours are arial pink, my front cover is a model. My audience will expect to see lots of fashion tips, from role models. Highstreet clothes that are in at the moment, cheap versions of catwalk clothes that are at affordable prices for young girls, certain type of music will be in there too the UK top 40 as they enjoy mainstream pop music. They want a cheap and cheerful magazine with fashion tips and pop music inside such as interviews with girls aloud or the saturdays.

Preliminary task cover

  This is my rough copy of my cover for my magazine. it hasnt turned out 100% like it but it has the same sort of idea. as you can see i have the same text. I have the same person on my cover, but i have used my other image in my contents page. I rushed this abit I wish I had more time to get more pictures. next time I will remember this so i can make no mistake in the future. I will take more time on my rough draft copy next time too so I can be more accurate.

Preliminary task - Media studies.

Preliminary exercise was to produce the front page of a new school/college magazine. A photo of a student in a medium close up shot and text and a masthead. Additionally i made a mock up of the layout for my magazine front cover and a contents page to demonstrate my grasp of the programme.i am not allowed to use the internet for this, i have to get the pictures from myself.
